Asalamwalakum my Dear Brothers and Sisters,
I am writing this letter here today to thank you all for the Duas (prayers) while I was sick and in the hospital. For those of you who are not aware, I would like to share the near-death experience which I had and how Allah SWA, by his grace, Alhamdulilah, brought me back to stay longer in this Dunya.
On September 29th I realized I had a high-risk exposure to COVID-19. On October 2nd, I tested positive and I had become ill with COVID-19. While I was sick, my condition began to deteriorate severely. After a few days, I went to the hospital as I had trouble breathing and was admitted soon after into the ICU. After only days of being on oxygen, on October 11, the day of my birth, the doctors treating me made the decision to intubate me. This was the day I believe Allah SWA gave me a chance to be reborn and a second chance at life in this Dunya. I was intubated and put into a medically induced coma for 2 months. I was in the hospital for a total of 105 days.
I am now home, Alhamdulilah, but I am still weak and recovering. I appreciate your continued Duas and well wishes for me and my health. The doctors have restricted any sort of contact with me for the next few months or until my condition and immune system are able to strengthen.
Allah SWA has given me a new life and Allah brought me back to this Earth to serve my purpose. This purpose is to serve my creator, Allah. I am encouraging you all to please take a look at the things that you have in this Dunya that you should appreciate and do things which will benefit our Ummah and ourselves in the Akhira (after life). As you all are aware, our masjid has been closed for months, yet expenses have continued to accrue, about $20,000 monthly. I hope you all have been persistent with up keeping our masjid and making donations.
Please write your donation checks to the “Islamic Society of Greater Salt Lake” and mail or drop off to the masjid at: 1019 W Parkway Ave, West Valley City, UT 84119 or donate online at http://www.Utahmuslims.com.
