Parliament of World’s Religion is hosting its 2015 conference in Salt Lake City, UT. Great speakers such as Dr. Tariq Ramadan and Dr. Eboo Patel will be speaking inshaaAllah. Registration is ~$500 per person, but SoundVision is giving out FREE passes for those who would like to volunteer.
SoundVision is a well known Chicago based Islamic organization that produces Islamic Videos, CDs and DVDs. SoundVision is planning to setup 2 booths at the Parliament of World’s Religions conference at the Salt Palace from Thursday Oct. 15th through Monday October 19th. Their booths will sell Islamic materials and they need Muslim volunteers to help them do so.
Volunteers will be provided with a FREE pass to the conference (admission is generally ~$500).
Schedule for volunteers will be:

Each volunteer will have to sign up for 3 shifts

Each shift will be around 3.5 hours

10 volunteers will be needed inshaaAllah,

Booth hours will be:
-
THURS (OCT 15) 12:00pm – 7:30pm;
-
FRI, SAT, SUN (OCT 16-18) 9:30am – 7:30pm;
-
MON (OCT 19) 9:30am – 2:00pm.
Volunteers will have access to all the days to enjoy the rest of the conference. SoundVision will call those interested and then arrange a conference call training. Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age.
